PLAS@PAR Workshop on Bridging Plasma Experiments and High-Energy Space and Astrophysical Phenomena

The PLAS@PAR Workshop on Bridging Plasma Experiments and High-Energy Space and Astrophysical Phenomena will bring together researchers working on laboratory astrophysics, high-energy-density plasmas, space plasmas, astrophysics, and numerical plasma physics.

Recent developments in high-power laser facilities, pulsed-power platforms, and advanced simulations now enable laboratory studies of fundamental plasma processes relevant to astrophysical environments, including shocks, magnetic reconnection, particle acceleration, relativistic outflows, and strong-field plasma effects.

This two-day workshop will provide a forum for interdisciplinary discussions connecting laboratory experiments, astrophysical observations, and numerical modeling. The program will combine invited talks, contributed presentations, and discussion sessions to identify common challenges and foster new collaborations across the plasma physics community.

The workshop is organized within the framework of the PLAS@PAR federation and aims to strengthen collaborations between French laboratories and international partners at the interface between plasma experiments, observations, and simulations.
